PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Sales and Marketing
Developed and implemented a marketing plan for a new ethnic food product, including all activities relating to use of a co-packer and nationwide distribution systems. Results included high profit margins and widespread distribution which promoted company name and other company products with limited capital expenditures.
Researched, and then developed market in Thailand for industrial products which resulted in capturing over 60% of the “imported from USA” market in two years.
Designed marketing and sales materials and procedures for business software and micro computers.
Direct marketing of high cost software to the life and health insurance industry.
Administration and Accounting
General manager and controller of a company that grew from revenue of $12 million to over $70 million in 10 years with only a 20% increase in office personnel
Senior Vice President of Administration of a Life Insurance company during the major conversion ( in one year) of a complete home office computer software and hardware system which covered all home office and field operations.
Converted numerous companies to new computerized accounting, CRM, inventory, and other business systems on time and within budget.
Project director of the M.I.F.T Consortium – a cooperative multi year undertaking of the Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies in the States of Michigan, Illinois, Florida, and Texas to independently develop systems and procedures that could be shared by each independent entity.
Set up and managed two Foreign Sales Corporations which resulted in multi million dollar tax savings and increased profits.
Formed and managed a captive trucking subsidiary to reduce expenses for both inbound and outbound deliveries.
